The Green Chili Pepper is a widely cultivated variety in the northern region of the peninsula. This plant reaches a height of approximately 65-70 cm and features small, narrow leaves, producing long fruits measuring 15-20 cm that taper to a point with a smooth surface.
The cultivation process begins with sowing from January to May in warm beds or trays for later transplanting. Transplantation occurs when the plants have reached a height of 15 cm, at a spacing of about 70x40 cm. The harvest begins in June to July when the fruits display a yellow-green color, characteristic of this variety before it is fully ripe.
