Calcicolina-P Calcium and Phosphorus Supplement

CALCICOLINA-P is a specialized product designed to address deficiency states in caged birds caused primarily by dietary imbalances and an excess of fatty seeds. When there is an overload of fats, severe digestive disorders can occur, such as hepatitis and enteritis, reducing the bird's natural defenses, making it more susceptible to various illnesses.

The inclusion of Choline Chloride, a crucial biological factor in fat metabolism, prevents fatty liver degeneration and helps avoid hepatitis. Furthermore, an excess of fats inhibits the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, leading to brittle bones that can easily break.

The Calcium Glycerophosphate provides calcium and phosphorus in a biologically assimilable form essential for proper bone formation, especially during the bird's growth phases.

Enhanced with essential trace minerals such as Manganese, Cobalt, Copper, and Zinc, CALCICOLINA-P is indispensable for correcting nutritional deficiencies—even the most well-planned diets can benefit from this supplement. In higher doses, it acts effectively as a medication for treating hepatic and digestive diseases.

Dosage and Administration: For 50 ml of drinking water (one drinking bowl), mix 1 ml of CALCICOLINA-P (equivalent to 20 drops from the bottle). To prepare one liter of water, mix with 2 caps (equivalent to 20 ml). For normal birds, treatment twice a week is adequate; during breeding periods, treat for four days followed by a three-day break. For hepatic and digestive illnesses, administer daily for a minimum of eight days until full recovery. Remove all oily seeds from their diet (e.g., canola, poppy seeds, hemp seed).
